Have you maintained a clean record? Do you believe you are eligible for a reduction in registration from the Sex Offender Registry? Have you been told to register, but don’t believe you need to? Some convictions do not require an individual to register at all, but, due to process errors, an individual has been required to register. Call The Fuller & Semerad Law Firm at (307) 265-3455 for help.

Individuals who have been convicted of certain offenses in Wyoming or in other jurisdictions may be required to register as sex offenders according to Wyoming Sex Offender Registry Act. Registration imposes unique burdens and challenges on the lives of individuals required to register.

Some convictions allow individuals to seek termination of their obligation to register as a sex offender after ten (10) or twenty-five (25) years of active registration through a petition to the court. There are provisions which need to be met and the process can be arduous in petitioning to be removed from the Sex Offender Registry. Ultimately, a judge must make a determination and relieve you of the obligation to register, and the Judge must sign an Order to terminate the registry obligations.
